The U.S. Department of State has
approved a new change to the au pair regulations. This change will allow
any au pair who completed the program in "good standing" and who still meets
the requirements of the program (including being under 27 years old) to sign
up for the program again. This "repeat" participation is therefore open to
all former au pairs who completed their year, including the educational
component, and still meet the other requirements.
